Support Group for Parents/Caregivers of adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilites

Purpose: The purpose of our group is to bring parents and families together to connect and network with one another through the sharing of stories, experiences, and resources, while creating a sense of community.
Group Focus: Our parent/caregiver support group hopes to provide an opportunity for parents, caregivers, and other family members of individuals with disabilities to find a place of belonging, share specialized knowledge and experiences, increase knowledge of support systems, share resources, and provide one another with insight on ways to handle situations they face.
Please RSVP via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, include the number of parents/caregivers that will be attending, as well as any individuals that will need care to ensure we have enough staff coverage. Details about the individual receiving care, such as age, behavioral issues, preferred activities, and any medical information should be included in the RSVP.
